Post No. 3a: Link to Thought-Provoking Article

I did NOT write this article. It was referred to me by one of our blog's readers. Since the purpose of this blog is to address decisions, choices, responsibility, and consequences, I thought that you might find this thought-provoking. Check out The 545 People Responsible for All of America's Woes, by The Orlando Sentinel's Charley Reese. Of course, we elected them.

  1. This is truly timeless and fits today's political situation, not just in the US. I certainly do get the impression that politics (no matter what party) is all about special/vested interest and keeping the general public as ignorant as possible.

I will tweet this, would not be surprised if people ignore it though because they will focus on the source and not the message.

  2. Thanks much Wsteffie for checking out some of our older posts. It had been so long that we had to revisit it ourselves. Still pretty amazing that we do this to ourselves.

  3. One person on my Twitter list re tweeted this that surprised me.

I will post my thoughts to #2 today or tomorrow. Have to change it though as I saw post # 11, and some fits better in there.

All your posts are thought-provoking and worth revisiting. I'm curious though, whenever you do revisit older posts, do you notice at times that your view have changed?

BTW, have you ever considered adding a category of "recent comments" to your blog? That might prompt some people to look and reply to other posts as well.
